Female Job - A Leading Knit Garments Group Welfare Officer - Female (Factory: Gazipur)

Job Description / Responsibility

• Providing overall wellness to the workers.
• Coordinating different kinds of training as per training schedule.
• Implement companies compliance related guidelines.
• Handling employee grievance and counseling.
• Keeping perfect official record on welfare management.
• Conduct health & safety committee meeting, preparing meeting minutes and notifying to all workers and all respective departmental head as per procedure.
• Look after fire safety matters/housekeeping.
• Arrange daily individual counseling and group counseling if required on day to day problems/grievances in consultation with respective supervisory authority/Management.
• Prepared monthly report on all counseling.
• Ensue congenial IR (industrial relations) environment in the Business Unit and provide appropriate advice while dealing with workers` representatives.
• Coordinate with Doctor, Medical Assistant and Care-Giver of child care center.
• Assist HR Manager to established sound industrial relation system in factory.

• At least 2 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  Legal Compliance/Code of Conduct, Factory HR Administration
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Garments (Woven/Apparel/Knitting), Textile (Spinning, Weaving, Knitting, Dyeing/Finishing)

Additional Job Requirements

• Age At least 24 year(s)
• Only females are allowed to apply.
• Good knowledge in Labor law 2006, Compliance, health and safety Issue in garment industry.
• Must have minimum 2 years experience in the garment s industry.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Proactive and target oriented.
• Computer knowledge in Email, Internet, Word and Excel is a must with the need to produce reports for management and clients.
• Highly energetic as needed to walk about the factory floors extensively.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Must be excellent communication in Bangla and English.
• Sincerity & Responsibility.
• Honesty & Integrity.
